Building partnerships

We bring organisations together from accross the world. From international development programmes to organisations based in developing countries we develop consortia and manage projects - identifying needs, providing advice and helping build capacity.

CIMRC also develops communication and research networks, managing information services for clients worldwide.

Communications and dissemination

At CIMRC we have unique experience in designing and implementing communication strategies. These include activities like participatory workshops and the development of information and learning materials.

As our focus is on developing countries, we are skilled in re-purposing detailed reseach findings. This means tailoring them to the visual and written literacy of the people who will use them.

Our writing skills are also used to develop marketing materials, web-marketing and press articles for our clients.

We also employ monitoring and evaluation techniques, advocay training and strategy building - always ensuring that all our communication processes are directly related to information users in developing countries.

Research

We put the results from research projects into practice to help developing nations. Our speciality is in applied biological sciences.

We also have experience in using training in both information and the biological sciences to help build capacity in developing nations.
